Due to the fact that I never had a consistent workout schedule (and when I did go it was a treadmill=boredom), I decided to get a personal trainer. We’ve had about 5 sessions so far. At first, I was like “oh, this is a breeze.” However, the next session pushed me more, and more in the next one. Now, on the days that she doesn’t come (who can afford everyday!), I actually feel like I need to be in the gym. For the past 11 days, I have been in the gym 9 days. I take one day off on the weekends, and feel guilty doing that. I apparently just needed that push to get in the gym and have someone to show me things I could be doing. Now, I don’t drag to go to the gym, and actually get there an hour early on days she comes so I can have my own pre-sweat session. It’s only been a little over a week, but it feels so amazing wanting to go to the gym and enjoying it while I’m there. After the first two sessions with her and my own workouts, I was down 3 pounds. I haven’t checked this week because I don’t want to be obsessed with the number. Since it has only been a week, I HAVE to keep it up. This is only the beginning and I am still quite far from my goal.
