I’ve always wanted to blog.
I involuntarily started my first blog my freshman year in high school (thanks to Mr. John in computer architecture). It was a requirement I’m happy he forced on us. I started on blogger, but then I discovered tumblr which I was faithfully addicted to the rest of my high school years. Then, for some crazy reason, I deleted it in college. I just rambled. All of that was unnecessary. Okay, so starting over! My name is Summer 🙂 I have decided for the first time in my life to get fit! I am super excited about it! I’ve never been a crazy eater…..I’ve been eating a lot healthier the past 2 years of my life….thanks to leaving Louisiana. Ahhhhh I miss you fried shrimp, fish, crawfish, seafood lasagna, shrimp poboy, and seasonings full of salt. However, I have never actually worked out, especially to the extent in which I plan to. Now, I live in Miami which of course is constant pressure to have it right and tight. My goal is to lose 25 pounds between now and my birthday, which gives me a little under 2 months. I want to do this for not only improving my physique, but also my health and developing better daily habits. I’ve been on the BIGGEST life journey for the past few years, and since my life is finally coming into focus, I thought documenting my fitness journey would be cool. So here I am!
Day after my birthday UPDATE: I did not meet my goal YET! I can honestly say that it’s because I can’t give up good food. THERE! (sign) While still continuing my healthier life journey, I decided to make my blog an overall lifestyle blog and not just centered on one thing.
